During a recent podcast with Engin Terzi and his future opponent Genadi Kvikvinia, Michael Todd revealed an intriguing storyline heading into the East vs West 15. If, for one reason or another, his clash with Genadi were to be canceled and Jerry Cadorette found himself injured, Michael Todd would offer himself as a replacement to face Levan Saginashvili. He is confident that within two months he could reach the level needed to challenge the Georgian champion.

Although this scenario is highly unlikely, it speaks to Michael Todd's newfound confidence in his abilities since his right biceps injury in 2023. After a resounding victory against Kamil Jablonski last August, he beat all his personal records, notably in pronation and side pressure. Many believe that Michael Todd is currently at the top of his form. His determination is clearly reflected in his words:

"On that day, it will take a superhuman performance to beat me. On November 2, I'll shake his hand, win 3-0, shake his hand again and get back to work."

Michael Todd

It's obvious that Michael Todd isn't just aiming for a win against Genadi Kvikvinia. His ultimate goal is to seize the world number one spot, currently held by Levan Saginashvili, who will face Jerry Cadorette on December 14 at King of the Table 13.

For his part, doubts remain around the current level of Genadi Kvikvinia, who has not fought since his right biceps injury in 2023. Nevertheless, he displays great confidence and declared that 'he was going to "destroy" Michael Todd. He even added:

"You and Devon don't understand that the Georgians are your limit. You hope I haven't recovered from my injuries, but I'm going to show you a level of strength you've never felt before."

Genadi Kvikvinia

Genadi clarified that he plans to use his flop press, a technique that has already been successful against opponents such as Tim Bresnan, Levan, and Devon Larratt. Michael Todd reacted by calling this strategy a "very bad idea" and advised Genadi to come forward with a plan B, because that's not how he will defeat him.

The final answer will be decided on November 2 at East vs West 15.
