A week before the event, Alex Kurdecha, initially scheduled to face Artyom Morozov at King of the Table 12, had to withdraw due to an injury. It was Kamil Jablonski who volunteered to take his place despite his match against Corey West at the same event, seeing a unique opportunity to climb into the top 10 of super heavyweights on right arm. Although Jablonski was a very different opponent from Kurdecha, Artyom Morozov (9th in the world rankings) was able to adapt and won the match 5 to 1.

The first round was quickly dominated by Artyom Morozov, who effectively countered Kamil's flop press with a solid hook, quickly winning this first clash.

The second round, on the other hand, was much more contested. Unlike the first, Artyom did not manage to get rid of the pressure imposed by Kamil's flop press as easily. After two faults on each side, Kamil ended up winning the round following a third fault from Artyom, thus leveling the score.

The third round, similar to the first, was largely controlled by Artyom, who once again used his hook to counter his opponent. Sensing Kamil's fatigue, Artyom capitalized on this weakness in the fourth round, this time using a hook press that put Kamil in trouble.

In the fifth round, Kamil made a foul and left Artyom pin him, thinking that the round would be restarted. However, according to the rules, for a round to be restarted after a foul, the offender must successfully pin their opponent. The referee therefore awarded the round to Artyom. In a gesture of fair play, Artyom offered to replay the round, but that did not change the outcome: he won the round again, sealing the victory for Artyom.

To close the match, the two competitors completed a sixth round, also won by Artyom Morozov, bringing the final score to 5-1.

Post-match reactions

On the microphone, Artyom Morozov praised the strength of Kamil Jablonski and affirmed that the match had not been as easy as it looked. When asked why he always looked to win his matches in such a dominant manner, Artyom explained that it allowed him to avoid criticism, pointing to his controversial match against Ivan Matyushenko, where some questioned his victory.

For his part, Kamil recognized Artyom's superiority, emphasizing his remarkable endurance and his ability to exploit the flaws in his game. He also expressed his satisfaction at having been able to measure up to the one of the best, despite the result.
