As Devon Larratt predicted, it was a terrible day for Leonidas Arkona at King of the Table 12, unable to find a solution.

Devon Larratt controlled the match with disconcerting ease, going so far as to mock his opponent in German, while maintaining a dominant posture from start to finish.

In each round, Devon took control in the center of the table, leaving Leonidas to try various strategies. When Leonidas ran out of options, it was only then that Devon decided to finish the round. At no time was Leonidas able to reverse the situation, confirming Larratt's prediction: the gap in level between the two men was obvious. The match ended with a 4-0 for Devon Larratt.

At the end of the match, during his intervention on the microphone, Devon made a point of recalling an important point: arm wrestling is a unique sport, where performance is not simply measured by the weights lifted in bodybuilding, such as the bench press or the curl. This statement of course referred to his victory against Leonidas Arkona, a bodybuilder who started arm wrestling only three years ago, but also to the victory of his son Auden against “The Korean Hulk”, a renowned powerlifter.

Unexpected prospects for Devon Larratt

Devon Larratt then spoke of his desire to face a figure he particularly respects, his eternal left-arm rival, Travis Bagent, provided that the latter is ready to take up the challenge. However, shortly after, Devon posted a video on his YouTube channel where he walked back his comments, explaining that the idea may not have been the best. Indeed, according to him, Travis has not yet proven that he has regained his level, particularly after his defeat against Corey West in the left arm, while the latter lost to Kamil Jablonski during King of the Table 12.

Devon therefore has another option in mind for his next fight. Against all expectations, he announced that he wanted to face Denis Cyplenkov, the man who had largely dominated him in 2018 and to whom he had ceded the Legacy Hammer. Larratt says he wants to get this hammer back by challenging Cyplenkov again, or else, he believes that Denis should hand it to the best current left-arm armwrestler: either Vitali Laletin or Artyom Morozov. The call is launched...
